HK
Electric’s new IT Operations Centre at Electric Centre, North Point, is built
to meet the Company’s future IT development needs.
In
order to implement HK Electric's commitment to sustainable development, various
green elements and the most effective operating approaches are adopted. The Centre was designed and built following
US’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design focusing on energy
efficiency and conservation. While
one-third of the building materials are recyclables, the Centre was also constructed
with an aim to ergonomically providing a health, safe, comfortable and
environmentally friendly workplace for employees working around the clock in
the Centre.
