Programme Highlights
As one of the most developed cities
in the world, Hong Kong is planned to develop into a world-class smart city.
According to the Government’s Smart City Blueprint, “smart environment” is one
of the 6 major areas in which innovation and technology will be embraced for a
smart Hong Kong. Therefore, it is timely for HKIE Environmental Division to
promote the discussion on how environmental innovation can be encouraged in
Hong Kong. This forum would bring together various stakeholders including
government, academics, research institutions, entrepreneurs and environmental
startups to explore the opportunities and challenges in promoting environmental
innovations in Hong Kong.
The forum comprises the keynote
session and three other sessions: I) Overseas Experiences in Driving
Environmental Innovation; II) Business Opportunities from Environmental
Innovations; and III) Pitching of Environmental Technology Companies.
