Mark will present how the UK Water & Sewage Industry has implemented embodied and operational carbon modelling, and how carbon reduction targets have delivered significant savings.  The talk will include examples of innovative and sustainable low-carbon solutions, in addition to energy and resource recovery from sewage.

Mark was the lead author for the UK Government's Infrastructure Carbon Review Report and was also the Engineering Manager for Anglian Water.
