Ir Chan is also a BEng(Hons.) Building Services Engineering Degree Holder and Chartered Building Services Engineer, Registered Energy Assessor and Registered Professional Engineer with proven track records of leading and motivating the team of consultants and construction BEAM & RCx professionals. His areas of expertise in building services system design & building energy consultancy including Building Services Systems, Indoor Environmental Quality, Building Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building.

Programme Highlights

The Building Energy Efficiency Ordinance (Cap.610, the Ordinance) stipulates that certain types of buildings shall comply with the energy efficiency standards. In addition, more than 2700commerical buildings have completed their first energy audit. To strengthen the relevant efforts of promoting buildings energy efficiency, the Chief Executive’s 2023 Policy Address announced that the Government will amend the Ordinance to extend its scope of regulation in consultation with the trade. Due to the proposed amendments to the Ordinance and its subsidiary legislative cover five areas and implementation the New BEC and EAC codes 2024 will be strictly followed by REA at this year so in seminar talk the REA will s hare the previous previous practical site audit and major changes of codes between 2021 & 2024 and latest development of Building Energy Saving for future ESG Solution building.
