Organized by EVD
Programme Highlights:
Climate change has brought more
extreme weather to Hong Kong and its impact to
our drainage system could be substantial. With the continued urban development,
it further poses new challenges to our already reliable drainage system.
Building flood resilience in the drainage infrastructure becomes more important
in this ever changing world. In this presentation, the speaker will share with
the participants how Drainage Services Department is shaping Hong
Kong into a climate ready and flood resilient city with the change
of drainage infrastructure design – from a “resistance” approach to a more
sustainable “resilient” approach.
