Programme Highlights
In recent years, a new
term has been coined by manufacturers to define a robots that used partially or
fully in areas with human workers, named collaborative robots, or cobots.
Traditional robots are known for their effectiveness when it comes to carrying
out repetitive tasks, but generally, have no idea humans are around. Thus, they
can cause great harm if humans enter their work path. Cobots, on the other
hand, are robots that are perfect for small to mid-sized companies looking for
a helping hand in light tasks. This talk will introduce the concept and
application of cobots, live demonstrate the easy operation.
