EVD is a supporting organisation
T-Park, Hong Kong's first self-sustaining sludge treatment facility and one of the most technologically advanced facilitis of its kind in the world. T-Park comprises power generation, desalination, educational and ecological facilities to showcase the benefits of the waste-to-energy approach to waste management.
The heat energy generated by the sludge incineration process at T-Park where is recovered and converted to electriicty to run the facility itself, while up to 2MW of surplus electricity can be expoirted to the power grid, enough to power up to 4,000 homes.
The visit will be conducted in Cantonese.
