Programme Highlights
i-Box Modular Housing Limited (hereinafter referred to as
"i-Box") is a construction company specializing in R&D, design and
construction of precast building products. With strong technical talent resources,
advanced production equipment and scientific management systems to complete
number of precast and MiC projects, i-Box has been recognized by various
authorities such as Housing Department (HD), Architectural Services Department
(ASD), Drainage Services Department (DSD) and Civil Engineering and Development
Department (CEDD) as a high-quality manufacturer of Precast Elements and MiC in
Hong Kong. Its main products include exterior walls, partition walls, floors,
staircases, balconies, primary and secondary beams and columns, composite
gypsum facade, integrated kitchens and washrooms, bridge deck, box girders, and
assembled MiC. i-Box, as a comprehensive development enterprise of R.C. precast
element, steel MiC and concrete MiC, aims to meet construction needs including
residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.
The production plant of i-Box is
in Foshan, Guangdong Province. It occupies 100,000m2 total area and
contains 4 nos. of production line. The annual production capacity of concrete
is approximately 250000 tons. i-Box has obtained ISO
9001:2015 certification for design, production and supply of precast concrete
and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) products. It has also obtained QSPSC,
ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications.
The
fabrication process of various precast elements and MiC will be discussed
throughout the factory tour, which lasts from component fabrication to assembly
to testing. The participants will also get knowledge of quality assurance and
control procedures as well as the operation processes for the steel mould and
the batching plant.
Registration and Enquiries
The visit is limited to 25 persons. The visiting cost is HK$200 with
inclusion of transport and luncheon. The application is required. Online registration before the
deadline on 20 January 2024. The successful applicant will be notified
separately for the payment method. No refund will be made after the payment. The participants must equip with his/her
personal protective equipment (Safety helmet, safety vest and safety shoes) for
