The global societies as the whole have been suffering negative impacts since the pandemic ravaged the world: mutated viruses seem to be emerging, the inflation of the financial system and real economy in developed countries has appeared, the COP26 climate change conference held in Glasgow at the end of the year does not solve the core problems. 

The Impact Investment and Sustainability 2021 Annual Conference (SIISC) was a huge success and had become a global landmark conference in the field of impact investment and sustainability, with over 60 dignitaries and business leaders from around the world attending and over 1.5 million global online audiences (with nearly 70% of the professional audience) (Appendix A). 

The Social Impact Investment and Procurement Foundation (SIIP-UN), a specialised agency dedicated to supporting the United Nations, international organisations, social enterprises and private partners in achieving the global sustainable development goals (SDGs) and the United Nations climate change targets, in partnership with global partners such as Yuai World Foundation (yuai-love.com) and the S.T.A.R.S. Foundation (starsf.org), and with continuous support from the United Nations system, will invite leaders including Dr. Jan Mattsson, former UN Under Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations, and Yukio Hatoyama, 60th Prime Minister of Japan, others international organisations, social enterprises, entrepreneurs, investors, scientists and the general public who cares about the future of humanity to join the Social Impact Investment and Sustainability 2022 Annual Conference.

The Social Impact Investment and Sustainability 2022 Annual Conference will be held on March 25^th-26^th, 2022 (Friday and Saturday), streaming online worldwide and/or on-site in Hong Kong, focusing on the theme of "Solidarity and Action in a Changing Landscape: Social Impact Investment toward⬩Carbon Neutrality⬩ESG⬩Metaverse. The guest speakers will discuss impact investment, carbon neutrality, ESG, Metaverse and other trending topics, and the Global Initiative for Impact Investing, the Carbon Neutral Youth Ambassador Initiative, the Metaverse and Sustainable Development Initiative will also be launched during the conference (Appendix B).  It is estimated that about 100 speakers will join the conference and share their insights on social impact investment, ESG, carbon neutrality, and metaverse. Similar to last year, it is expecting 1 million audiences and more from various corners of the world will participate in the conference.
