Programme Highlight
Testing and certification is of paramount
importance to various areas, including environmental protection and
construction. For instances,
construction materials are tested to verify whether they meet the required
safety and environmental standards, air samples are tested to monitor the air
quality, and management system of an organization is certified to international
environmental management standards.
This seminar aims to update engineers on the
latest development of environmental-related testing and certification services.
Two speakers from Hong Kong Accreditation
Service (HKAS) of the Innovation and Technology Commission are invited to speak
at the seminar. HKAS offers
accreditation service to laboratories, inspection bodies, certification bodies,
validation and verification bodies under three voluntary schemes in Hong Kong.
