Technical Seminar: The contamination assessment for Land Soil and Marine Sediment in Hong Kong

Programme Highlight

All contamination assessment work in land soil and marine sediment in Hong Kong has been governed and controlled according to the ETWB, Technical Circular Works no. 34/2002 (for Dredged/Excavated Sediment) and the Risk-based Remediation Goals (RBRG) (for Contaminated land Management). The remediation action required will be heavily relying on the types and level of contaminants found in the laboratory testing. In the seminar, information about the different types of contaminants, their sampling and testing methods will be shared and discussed.

Speaker

Mr. Richard Fung is the Founder employee of ALS Hong Kong. Over the last 25 years, ALS Hong Kong is one of the major testing facilities of the Australian Laboratory Service group in Asia providing world-class, professional and accrediting testing service in environmental, stack, olfactory and food samples.

Richard holds an M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry and specialises in Laboratory Management, Water Chemistry, Metal Testing and Chromatography Science.
