Nowadays, Green Energy, Power Reliability and Power Quality are important concerns to every user. Nonetheless, power interruptions are inevitable in today’s world. Special equipment shall be used to cater to such problems in order to avoid serious economic consequences and accidents arising from power blackouts. Poor power quality can also affect computers and other sensitive equipment as well as waste valuable energy. Static UPS may require battery replacement for every 5 years approximately and these batteries are harmful to the environment.

The speakers will explain how Flywheel UPS can be a system to help consumers manage all these problems as well as improving power quality issues by eliminating harmonics, spikes, voltage deviations and power factor.

Simple talk will also be given on how this flywheel technology helps to obtain credits in LEED.

Mr. Paul Randall has more than 25 years’ solid experiences on Static UPS and flywheel UPS technology. He has done a lot of installation, testing & commissioning in U.K. and Asian Countries.
