Technical seminar on Air Movement for Energy-Efficient Comfort in Conditioned Spaces

Programme highlights

This seminar will help participants learn about HVAC design strategy that pairs elevated air speeds with traditional air conditioning in order to achieve energy savings. The presentation will describe the additional design benefits from minimizing ductwork, lowering HVAC costs, improving ventilation rates and reducing condensation, as well as explain significant energy savings potential from de-stratifying a large open space. The speaker will also share some case application of using fans to achieve thermal comfort and energy efficient.

 

Speaker

Mr. Andy Chou is a US certified attorney and has worked in the technology sector for several Fortune 500 companies. He is currently the managing director of Big Ass Fans Hong Kong Limited and is responsible for all East Asia markets including Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. Andy has delivered presentations on the subject of air movement and energy-efficiency to many organization like AIAHK and HKGBC.
